Patagonia Refugio 28 Litre Commute Daypack
The midsize classic Patagonia Refugio 28 Litre Commute Daypack with two main compartments and one external stash is perfect for managing your daily grind.
Design meets catch-all versatility in the Patagonia Refugio, Patagonia's most popular backpack. With three main pockets, it keeps you organized without feeling fussy. The main compartment holds much of the load and features a lined tablet sleeve for quick access to your hand-held electronics and a dedicated computer sleeve that accommodates most 15" laptops (the same sleeve also accepts a hydration reservoir when your feet leave the cement). The second, zippered pocket holds smaller items like your spy thriller paperback and keeps your USB cords and accessories organized. On the exterior, a front stash pocket is just right for plane tickets or other small items you want close at hand. Stretch-woven side pockets accommodate a full range of water-bottle shapes and sizes. Airflow mesh on the shoulder straps and back panel prevents overheating, while compression straps stabilize contents. Made from 630-denier 100% nylon (50% recycled/50% high-tenacity) plain weave with a polyurethane coating and a DWR (durable water repellent) finish. The lining is 200-denier 100% recycled polyester.

Materials: Body: 7.4-oz 630-denier 100% nylon (50% recycled/50% high-tenacity) plain weave with a polyurethane coating and a DWR (durable water repellent) finish.
Lining: 3.3-oz 200-denier 100% recycled polyester
DWR (durable water repellent) fabric finish repels light rain and snow and decreases dry times. When DWR is used in conjunction with a waterproof/breathable barrier, the DWR finish keeps the outer fabric from becoming saturated so that the breathable barrier can do its job.
In 1993, Patagonia adopted fleece into their product line made from post consumer recycled (PCR) plastic soda bottles. They were the first outdoor clothing manufacturer to do so. PCR® clothing was a positive step towards a more sustainable system – one that uses fewer resources, discards less and better protects people’s health.
Today, Patagonia are able to utilize more sources for recycled polyester and offer it on more garments such as Capilene® baselayers, shell jackets, board shorts, and fleece. They now recycle used soda bottles, unusable manufacturing waste, and worn out garments (including their own) into polyester fibers to produce many of our clothes.
Using recycled polyester lessens our dependence on petroleum as a raw material source, curbs discards and reduces toxic emissions from incinerators.
I ordered this for myself, arrived super quick and a great price. Its very comfortable and easy to travel to work with laptop, 1L water bottle, lunch and sneakers. My son (8yr old) liked it and now uses it for school so am thinking of ordering another.
I am intended to use this as my travel backpack. It fits essentials perfectly and with the loops, I can actually hook it behind my pram. It is not heavy behind my back, and dad happily carry it for me with no complains. It has some compartments, which I can seperate my documents and the baby stuff. I am very satisfied with it. Got it in Painbrush red, love the bright colour!
The item was as described! Great quality and at a better price than other competitors! I really was stoked with the shipping times as well and happy to support a local shop
