Scarpa Moraine Plus Men's Gore-Tex Lightweight Travel and Hiking Shoe
The Scarpa Moraine Plus Gore-Tex® Men's Shoe is made from high quality 1.6mm nubuck leather upper with GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort membrane lining, providing maximum, weather protection, breathability and durability. The long lacing closure is taken from the climbing world for an instant comfort and custom fit and the rubber toe rand is shaped in order to protect the foot from accidental impacts. The Dynatech 3 sole has been designed according to 3 principles- lightness, cushioning and stability. The bi-density EVA midsole gives a dedicated support and good shock-absorbing while walking. In the central part of the foot there is a TPU anti-torsion shank for a better lateral support. The outsole design has special designed lugs that give more grip.

Scarpa Boots and Shoe Size Fitting Advice
For trail / mountain / approach / lifestyle products: The bigger/heavier/more supportive the product, the more you may want to upsize by .5 - 1 full size. Lighter, softer, more supple shoes can be sized closer to your measured size. Note: SCARPA Plastic mountain boots all use UK sizing; UK converts easily: 1 full size smaller than US men's size, 2 sizes smaller than US women's size. Try on with appropriate socks for your usage. The bigger the boot, the more appropriate a bigger sock. If you use orthotics or already have aftermarket footbeds, measure against the standard footbed in boot. Fit into boot for sizing/fitting the boot. Best to try on at the end of the day when your feet are larger/swollen, than when your feet are fresh to ensure good fit after a long day. Lacing can play an incredibly important part of a good fit. Be sure to play with lacing when analyzing fit. Make sure your heel isn't slipping. Make sure your toes aren't hitting the end. Approach shoes may be sized smaller for performance purposes but beware... small shoes are really uncomfortable on the trail.
It's the 2nd pair I've owned. Extremely comfortable for my wider foot. Use it every day for skating and walking on pavement and trails and stands up really well. The sole on the last pair wore through and still no stitching, eyelets or iinsole showing any signs of failure.
