"The Flash is Jetboil's tried and true basic model. The Flash does not have the bells and whistles of some of its brothers and sisters like the Jetboil Sol, but it has all you need to boil water fast. It wins our Best Buy Award because at $100 USD it provides great bang for your buck, and is much cheaper than most other integrated canister stoves. The Flash is fast and efficient at boiling water, and we really like the color changing heat indicator on its cozy that lets us know the water is ready before it boils over. Key features include a one-liter insulated pot, piezo auto ignition, water temperature indicator, and a lock that secures the stove and pot into one stable unit."
This stove proves to be exceptionally fast in boiling water and cleaning is a breeze. Love it.
Great, I really appreciated the hand written letter as well.
It was a gift for our son who is in the army. Just waiting to see how he rates it . I can tell you he was pleased to get it .
I thought about a spirit stove, and I thought about a trangia, but ultimately what sold me on the Jetboil was the fact that it all packs up into an easy 25cm cylnder. Its fast, its simple, can be fitted together and started in the dark once youve used it a few times and can do it by feel. There's no messing about with spirit bottles and the pressurised butane cans will not leak. I use a lot of dehydrated products so this unit is ideal, but I also use it to cook off my oats in the morning, and with the pan adaptor, Ive used it to cook bacon and eggs, and even steak! The flame is hot and intense, and will warm up a tent on those early snowy mornings in a couple of minutes. Ive had mine for three years now and apart from a few track scuffs, and some ground in dirt on the sleeve, it still looks, and performs, as well as the day I bought it
